This is a very different type of escape room. They actually lay out for you what puzzles you have to do on a map. The OCD planner in me really liked this, but the escape room enthusiast in me did not. I think the fun of escape rooms is that aha moment when you figure out what you need to do next, and this ruined that for me. On the plus side, it allowed them to cram in as many puzzles as possible so no time is wasted just looking around confused. I imagine some will love this about the Laboratory, and some will not.

This one you do play with people you don't know if you don't have enough to fill the room. The cool thing about this one is that it allows for so many people, I think we had like 12 in ours (website only says 10 though). Everyone was doing their own things but everything comes together at the end and there are puzzles for all levels. The key is to work together even if you have your own set of puzzles. Fun for all levels of enthusiast.

I went here for my birthday party because it allowed so many players. I loved their brilliant method of adjusting the number of puzzles for group size, and I was really impressed by the number of puzzles that were brand new to us. Production design was basically non-existent, which was a bummer. But overall a very solid experience.

My group of 4 + 4 randoms = a fun experience! If you've ever done a room with strangers you'll know how upsetting and difficult it can be as you have to battle room space, puzzles and time. This room however account for all of that! There were multiple paths of puzzles that needed to be solved so we simply split them up by difficulty, which worked perfectly. Bring a large group with you as there are so many things to do within the space! Also props to the creator for adding in new puzzles which after 50+ rooms I still haven't seen repeats of! Very unique and creative ways to solve the room. We thoroughly had a great experience. Minus 1 star for the certain puzzle that required a certain sense, still it was difficult for us to distinguish differences. Also there is such a big space, so when we saw an open and unlocked door we thought it should have been locked and that we should have to figure out how to open it. Other than that though, super fun room! Overall I would recommend this to groups of enthusiasts looking for lots of puzzles and new escapers looking for an exciting room to do!
